"It's Time" - The Kapor Center Mural Video

This video is about The Kapor Center mural created by Favianna Rodriguez and commissioned by Mitchell Kapor Foundation.  It was a really interesting project for me because I got the chance to meet Favianna Rodriguez, a talented Oakland-based artist, and learn about the organizations represented in the mural that are doing great work across the board.

It was also fun and challenging on a creative level to try to embody the emotion and vibrancy of the artist and mural through stylistic shooting and editing techniques, graphics, and music.  I got the chance to experiment with fast cuts, timelapses, incorporating the mural into graphics, and the awesome Manu Chao. 

This video is also one of many to come as The Kapor Center in Oakland begins construction and we, as Kapor Creative, build a brand, visual identity, and personality that reflects all the impactful work and events that happen through The Center as well as the values it represents.
